Meet the Doctors
Dr. David M. Dillman, M.D.
Dr. Dillman is a highly skilled and experienced ophthalmologist with advanced expertise in cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Dillman provides patients with specialized cataract and refractive surgeries using individualized techniques to ensure a high quality of care.
Dr. Dillman graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame, before receiving his medical degree from Indiana University. He then completed an internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and residency training in Ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
Throughout his practice experience, Dr. Dillman has been actively involved in research studies to develop new techniques and technologies for cataract surgery. He has authored several articles and textbook chapters and has co-written a full textbook as well. Dr. Dillman has also created several instructional surgery video tapes, for which he has won major educational awards.
As a leading cataract surgeon, Dr. Dillman has taught over 200 surgical courses across the world, including in the US, Europe, Japan, Australia, South America and Canada, and has had over 300 ophthalmologists visit his practice in Danville to watch him perform surgery. Dr. Dillman has also served on the advisory board for virtually every society related to cataract surgery.
Dr. Andrew Dvorak, M.D.
Dr. Andrew Dvorak is a Chicago area native currently providing patients at Dillman Eye Care Associates with dedicated diagnostic and treatment services as an experienced general ophthalmologist. His specialties include the medical, surgical and laser treatment of glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration, as well as treatment of eye trauma and dry eye, cataract surgery, eyelid procedures and more.
Dr. Dvorak graduated with his medical degree from Roseland Franklin University, and completed his internship at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He then completed residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Florida, where he honed his skills in the latest eye care treatments available.
In addition to his advanced medical training and experience, Dr. Dvorak also served as a flight surgeon in the US Navy for four years.
Dr. Monica Kalia, O.D.
Dr. Monica Kalia is a highly skilled and experienced general optometrist providing patients with state-of-the-art care in a wide range of specialties, including family eye care, pediatric conditions, contact lenses, foreign body removal and more. She also provides medical management of long-term eye conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Outside of her practice duties, Dr. Kalia also provides optometric humanitarian services to patients in need throughout the US and Mexico. She was born and raised in New Castle, Indiana and is proud to be a part of the team at Dillman Eye Care Associates.
